uncompromising advocates
With a combined experience of over thirty years, Benjamin Barr and Stephen Klein are uncompromising advocates in state and federal courts, in trials and appeals, and before regulatory bodies. Especially known for our experience with constitutional law, we advise clients on a host of issues including business formation, nonprofit compliance, campaign finance law, privacy law, the First Amendment, and journalism practices.
In every instance it is our goal to advance your goals and your voice—not the preferences of bureaucrats.
Our practice is eclectic. Benjamin Barr served as a counsel to two Chairmen of the Federal Election Commission and has fought for free speech rights across the country. Stephen Klein has helped reform civil asset forfeiture and has changed election law nationwide.
We are united by the principle that individual rights—your rights—come first.
If you are being censored, whether by the government’s heavy hand or clever red tape, or being sued by someone who’s just trying to shut you up, please be in touch.
